Therapy isn't just about fixing things. It's about learning how to be with our emotions -- who has ever taught us to do that? I spent decades doing self-discovery work in therapy, in process groups and in spiritual communities. I got really good at moving around in my inner world. But that didn't seem to change much in my life and it felt like something was missing.
About six years ago, I heard from a friend about a class she was taking that had something to do with being more present. I ended up collaborating with the teacher and a few other like-minded souls to co-create a set of self-awareness skills and life practices we call Intentional Presence. We didn't set out to do this; it just sort of happened.
I now offer online classes in Intentional Presence to support my clients and others to build more conscious, connected and supportive relationships with themselves and others. In this six-week introductory course, you'll learn two important sets of skills:
